On December 23, 2024, MwalimuSacco held an important conference bringing together school leaders, teachers, and members of the teachers’ cooperative to support the development of teachers’ welfare and help them access opportunities to enhance their activities. The event took place in Kigali city.
Mr. Byukusenge Jimmy Christian, the Director of General Affairs at the Ministry of Education, encouraged teachers to take advantage of the technological opportunities provided by the cooperative, including the use of the ONLINE LOAN APPLICATION PLATFORM for loan applications. Mr. Byukusenge stated, “Teachers, we must understand this quickly because it will contribute to the advancement of our cooperative, and its success is our success.”
Madam INGABIRE Domitile, the head of Buringa TSS, demonstrated how effectively working with MwalimuSacco in processing parent contributions for school fees and other school-related funds can improve financial management. To simplify the loan application process for teachers, MwalimuSacco introduced the ONLINE LOAN APPLICATION PLATFORM, where members can submit loan requests through the system without needing to go anywhere. This new technology-based method will streamline the loan application process, making it easier for members to track their application status.
