Davis D to Represent Rwanda on the International Stage Alongside Mr. P in Norway

Rwandan artist Davis D is set to once again demonstrate that Rwandan music can stand strong on the international stage, as he will be one of the performers at the international Afro Energy Festival, scheduled to take place in the city of Bergen, Norway, on June 28, 2025.

It will be the first time the artist, widely known for songs such as Biryogo and Jeje, will perform in this European country. This is considered a major milestone for Rwandan music, as he will share the stage with globally renowned artists including Mr. P, one of the founders of the famous group P-Square.

Davis D stated that this opportunity represents great honor and trust in him and the country he represents. This festival brings together artists from various backgrounds to promote culture, art, and foster connections between diverse cultures.

The Afro Energy Festival is not limited to music; it also features cultural exhibitions, discussions, showcases, and entertainment for children and families, making it an inclusive platform for all audiences.

This year’s event will be hosted by international cultural emcee MC Charlene and will run from day to night, featuring dance, concerts, and vibrant social interactions.

On the other hand, Mr. P, best known for hits like Personally, No One Like You, and One More Night, will be one of the headlining acts expected to remind the world of the legacy of P-Square and share a message rooted in African music and cultural unity.

The Afro Energy Festival stands as a major pillar in the development of Black art globally and holds significant value in promoting African culture, international collaboration, and showcasing the power of art to transform lives and mindsets.
