La Jeunesse FC, one of the historic clubs in Rwandan football, is entering the 2025/2026 season with a new technical leadership. The management of this second division team has entrusted Sogonya Hamiss “Cyishi” with the role of head coach, while Ndayishimiye Yussuf “Kabishi” has been appointed as his assistant.
Sogonya, who has built a strong reputation in Rwandan football and last coached AS Kigali WFC during the CECAFA Women’s Championship, has signed a one-year contract. He is expected to improve the team’s performance and help achieve the goal of promotion to the first division. The responsibilities assigned to him are based on his experience in both men’s and women’s football.
Kabishi, formerly known as a player for La Jeunesse in past seasons, returns to the club as an assistant coach. His duties include assisting in training sessions, monitoring players’ welfare, and supporting the head coach in building a strong and competitive squad.
Both coaches share a unique history in Rwandan football and with La Jeunesse itself.
