Modern Electric Vehicles Set to Transform Transportation in Rwanda Through EXPO 2025

As the 28th edition of the International Trade Fair EXPO 2025 continues at Gikondo, Rwandans are being presented with an opportunity to discover modern electric vehicles that are beginning to change the way people think about everyday transport.

EV-AUTOMOBILE is showcasing a new range of vehicles equipped with advanced technology, including models with hybrid engines that combine fuel and electric power. This innovation helps reduce harmful emissions and offers a sustainable solution to the rising cost of petroleum-based fuels.

Mr. Masabo Jean Paul, the Head of Marketing at EV-Automobile, says that the modern HYBRID type of vehicles has been available to Rwandans for a year now

Masabo Jean Paul, Head of Marketing at EV-AUTOMOBILE, says they are proud to bring environmentally friendly vehicles to Rwandans, built to withstand the country’s varied road conditions. He notes that these vehicles can travel over 115 kilometers on electric power alone before needing to be recharged, making them suitable for local travel and daily use.

He adds that these vehicles have been on the Rwandan market for a year now and have already attracted significant interest. “These are truly strong vehicles that can run more than 115 kilometers on their own electric power and still perform as expected,” he said.

Masabo also assures customers that they should not worry about spare parts, as EV-AUTOMOBILE has a reliable system in place to supply replacements quickly through dedicated storage facilities.

Regarding pricing, he explains that the company is committed to making modern vehicles accessible to Rwandans at affordable prices. During EXPO 2025, the company is offering a special discount of up to six million Rwandan Francs per vehicle compared to their regular price at their headquarters in Kinyinya, Gasabo District.

Masabo emphasizes the growing interest from visitors at the expo who want to learn more about these new vehicles, saying: “We have brought five different vehicle models for Rwandans, and I’m confident that anyone who gets all the information would want to buy one before they run out.”
