Following Ngaboyicondo Roben, who recently resigned from his duties at Rayon Sports, two others have also resigned from their positions in this team.
On Monday, February 9, 2026, RadioTV10 journalist Ngaboyicondo Roben posted a lengthy message on his Instagram, bidding farewell to the Rayon Sports family where he served as the Media and Communications Officer.

Among the many things Ngabo mentioned in an interview with Radio10 where he works, he spoke about what he encountered during the six years he spent as an employee of Murera, stating that he faced many things that wounded his heart, though he remained strong.
Shortly after Roben’s resignation became known, two others working for Murera decided to relinquish the responsibilities they held.
These include Ishimwe Prince, who was the head of stadium security for this team, and Uwimpuhwe Liliane, who was the Chief Executive Officer [CEO] of Gikundiro.

When Ngabo spoke about the leadership of Murenzi Abdallah, who is currently leading Rayon Sports in an interim capacity, he stated that this leader works professionally but that those surrounding him are the ones who are bad to work with.
This has led some to suggest that if what this journalist says is true, it will be difficult for Murenzi to properly fulfill the responsibilities given to him by RGB, which include unifying Rayon Sports members to speak with one voice.
