Clippers start the NBA season with a loss to Utah Jazz

The Los Angeles Clippers, an American basketball team, began the 2025/2026 NBA season with a 129–108 loss to the Utah Jazz in a game played in Utah early on Thursday, October 23, 2025, Kigali time.

This was the Clippers’ first game of the new season, where they featured both new and experienced players, including James Harden, Bradley Beal, Kawhi Leonard, Derrick Jones Jr., and Ivica Zubac, who were in the starting lineup.

Despite the loss, Ivica Zubac performed well, scoring 19 points, followed by James Harden and Brook Lopez with 15 points each, while John Collins added 14.

Utah Jazz played strongly on their home court, taking advantage of their opportunities to secure a comfortable lead over the Clippers.
