Dr. Gershom Sikaala’s journey has been shaped by a deep connection to service, leadership, entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for others. At the heart of his philosophy is a simple conviction: purpose-driven leadership should create tangible value for people, sustainable profit for communities and measurable progress for nations.

From a Prominent Zambian Family
Dr. Sikaala was born and raised in Zambia, coming from a prominent family with a strong tradition of leadership, agriculture, public service and community responsibility.
From an early age, he was exposed to leadership, successful farming, national development and the responsibility that comes with influence. His upbringing gave him an understanding that success should never be measured only by what an individual accumulates, but also by the opportunities that person creates for others.

Growing up in Zambia also allowed him to see both the extraordinary potential of the country and the challenges facing many communities. Zambia’s people, natural resources, agricultural potential and strategic position in Southern Africa helped shape his belief that the nation could become an increasingly important destination for global investment.
Rather than allowing challenges to define his outlook, those experiences strengthened his determination to build solutions.
His vision became increasingly clear: combine faith, business, innovation, investment and humanitarian service to create opportunities capable of changing lives.
The Bamboo Revolution: Building Zambikes into a Global Brand
One of the defining chapters of Dr. Sikaala’s entrepreneurial journey was his involvement in co-founding Zambikes in 2007.
The company developed bicycles using frames made from locally sourced bamboo, combining sustainable innovation with employment creation and practical transportation solutions. Working alongside fellow Zambian Mwewa Chikamba and American partners Dustin McBride and Vaughn Spethmann, the team saw possibilities in a resource many people had overlooked.

The early prototypes were not perfect. Instead of treating setbacks as failure, the team approached them as engineering challenges. Different bamboo varieties, treatment methods, joints and reinforcement techniques were tested until stronger designs emerged.
That determination eventually helped turn an unconventional Zambian idea into an internationally recognized product.
The company expanded beyond conventional bicycles into cargo bikes, trailers and the innovative “Zambulance” a bicycle-drawn ambulance trailer designed to help transport patients in communities where conventional vehicles could struggle to travel.
For Dr. Sikaala, this represented something larger than commercial success.
“Profit is important, but the greatest return is when innovation changes a human life,” he says.
Zambikes demonstrated a principle that would continue throughout his career: African innovation can begin locally, create jobs locally and compete globally.
Taking Zambia’s Story to the World
Dr. Sikaala has also become passionate about presenting Zambia’s tourism, investment and creative potential internationally.
He recalls conversations with the late actor Chadwick Boseman about showcasing Livingstone, Victoria Falls and Zambia’s extraordinary landscapes to the global film industry.
The broader vision was to encourage international filmmakers and investors to see Zambia not simply as a location on a map, but as a destination capable of supporting major creative productions, tourism development and international investment.
The Chadwick Boseman Connection (Black Panther)
Among Dr. Sikaala’s treasured relationships was his friendship with Chadwick Boseman.
Their conversations extended beyond Hollywood and entertainment into Africa’s future, leadership, humanitarian development and the responsibility successful people have to create meaningful change.
Dr. Sikaala remembers Boseman as thoughtful, disciplined and deeply interested in solutions.
Their discussions reinforced an important principle in Dr. Sikaala’s life: visibility should become a platform for impact.
The experience strengthened his determination to continue building bridges between Africa and influential networks in the United States.
Today, his relationships across entertainment, business, faith and philanthropy form part of a broader strategy to connect people, ideas and capital with opportunities capable of producing lasting impact.
Driving Investment and Economic Development
Economic development has increasingly become a major component of Dr. Sikaala’s work. Through Kabile Consultant Ltd., he has sought to position himself as a bridge between international investors and opportunities in Zambia.
His vision encompasses mining, renewable energy, infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, agriculture and other sectors capable of generating employment and strengthening Zambia’s economy.
He has organized and participated in investment discussions bringing together Zambian representatives, American entrepreneurs, investors, entertainment leaders and other international stakeholders. Through Kabile Consultant Limiteds mining and development activities in Zambia, local employment has already been created, while the company’s broader objective is to expand operations and attract responsible international investment. Dr. Sikaala’s long-term ambition is to help facilitate US$1 billion in investment opportunities, with a particular emphasis on projects capable of creating jobs, strengthening communities and positioning Zambia more prominently within the global economy. His message to international investors is straightforward:
Zambia is not simply rich in resources. Zambia is rich in opportunity, talent, peace, strategic location and possibility.
Humanitarian Impact: Dignity Through Action
Humanitarian service remains an important part of Dr. Sikaala’s work. Over the years, he has participated in initiatives involving medical equipment and supplies for Zambia and large-scale shoe distributions benefiting communities across Southern Africa.
For him, humanitarian work and entrepreneurship are not competing ideas. They are interconnected.
Successful businesses create resources.
Strong relationships create access. Effective logistics create distribution. Leadership determines whether those resources ultimately reach people.
His humanitarian work has also extended into Los Angeles through initiatives supporting people experiencing homelessness and families in need.
Whether the need involves food, clothing, education, medical resources or economic opportunity, his philosophy remains consistent:
Success becomes significant when somebody else’s life becomes better because you succeeded.”
A Journey of Faith and Mentorship
Faith has remained central to Dr. Sikaala’s development as a leader.
His leadership journey has been influenced by relationships with respected Christian leaders who helped strengthen his understanding of ministry, character, prayer and service.
Among those influences was Dr. Ralph Wilkerson, founder of Melodyland Christian Center, whom Dr. Sikaala describes as an important spiritual mentor.
Through relationships across the international Christian community, Dr. Sikaala gained exposure to generations of leaders associated with revival, evangelism and global ministry.
He has also spent time with evangelist Benny Hinn, including conversations concerning ministry, revival and reaching people internationally.
Bishop Joseph Imakando: A Father in the Faith
Dr. Sikaala describes Bishop Joseph Imakando and his wife as among the most important influences on his spiritual and leadership development.
Their mentorship extended beyond ministry principles. It helped shape his character, entrepreneurial thinking, leadership philosophy and understanding of responsibility.
Through their example, he says he learned that genuine leadership requires humility, integrity, sacrifice and service.
Bishop Imakando became both a mentor and father figure who challenged him to think beyond personal achievement toward building institutions, developing people and creating opportunities.
The mentorship reinforced is another principle that continues to influence Dr. Sikaala. He observes that one person’s guidance and belief in another can change the course of a destiny.
Ministry, Media and Mentorship
Ministry remains central to Dr. Sikaala’s identity.
Through His Presence Fire Ministries in Southern California, he continues preaching, teaching and conducting meetings focused on faith, healing, revival and personal transformation. His work has expanded beyond the traditional church environment into television, film, publishing, technology and digital media.
He hosts “You Will Never Be the Same,” has participated in Christian media projects and continues developing platforms designed to carry messages of faith, leadership and transformation to wider audiences.
As an author, his books include And You Shall Live, Breakthrough Thinking, A New Dimension of Glory and Think Bigger with God.
A recurring principle throughout his writing is that circumstances do not have to determine destiny. Transformation begins when people develop the faith, thinking, discipline and vision necessary to see possibilities beyond their present circumstances.
His mentorship of entrepreneurs, ministers, artists and business leaders follows the same philosophy, helping people transform ideas into action.
Innovation and the Future of Media
Dr. Sikaala’s entrepreneurial interests have continued expanding into technology and entertainment.
His initiatives include Authentic Television, the Authentic Global Film Awards and PureKonect. Through PureKonect, an American technology company, he is also involved in developing Artificial-Intelligence (AI) initiatives, including Fleeky AI.
These ventures reflect his belief that the next generation of African and diaspora leaders must participate not only in traditional industries but also in artificial intelligence, digital media, entertainment and emerging technologies.
Global Leadership
Dr. Sikaala’s journey has brought him into international leadership, business, humanitarian and faith environments.
He has participated in major leadership gatherings and engaged with entrepreneurs, executives and influential figures around conversations involving Africa, technology, leadership and investment. These experiences have strengthened his determination to connect Zambia with global opportunities. His relationships with Zambian government and diplomatic leaders have also reinforced his commitment to supporting the country’s economic development while encouraging the diaspora to participate in Zambia’s future.
Recognition and Humanitarian Leadership
Dr. Sikaala’s work has received recognition through leadership and humanitarian platforms in the United States.
For him, however, recognition is valuable primarily when it creates a larger platform from which to serve.
Awards may recognize yesterday’s work, but his attention remains focused on what can be built tomorrow.
Turning Challenges into Opportunities
Like most entrepreneurs and leaders, Dr. Sikaala’s journey has included setbacks, difficult business experiences and projects that did not develop according to plan.
Rather than allowing those experiences to become the defining chapters of his story, he says they became lessons in resilience, wisdom and leadership.
“Challenges don’t cancel purpose. They develop the capacity required to carry it,’’ he says.
Managing ventures across ministry, media, humanitarian work, mining, technology and international investment requires enormous discipline.
Dr. Sikaala acknowledges that building across multiple sectors demands sacrifice, but he remains convinced that purpose provides the strength to continue.
A Vision Beyond Borders
From a prominent Zambian family to international ministry, entrepreneurship, humanitarian service, Hollywood relationships and investment development, Dr. Gershom Sikaala’s journey represents a vision that increasingly reaches beyond borders.
His future ambitions include expanding Zambia’s participation in international film and media, developing vocational and leadership training opportunities, growing responsible mining and investment projects, creating employment and connecting international capital with credible Zambian opportunities.
He believes Zambia possesses an extraordinary combination of natural resources, human talent, political stability, geographic position and economic potential.
His goal is therefore bigger than building individual companies.
“It is about helping build ecosystems. Investment that creates employment.
Innovation that solves problems. Mining that contributes to development.
Technology that connects Africa to the future. Media that changes global perceptions.
Faith that inspires service. Profit that produces progress. Zambia is open for business, and the world is taking notice,’’ he says. Dr. Sikaala says his life’s mission is to unite faith, leadership, innovation, investment and compassion to transform lives, strengthen communities, develop leaders and create opportunities that leave a lasting legacy.
From Zambia to Los Angeles and from humanitarian initiatives to international investment, the principle behind the journey remains the same:
Purpose must become action. Profit must create opportunity. And progress must ultimately change lives.
