In Kenya, Nairobi United, featuring Buregeya Prince, was defeated 1-0 by Mathare United. Buregeya came on as a substitute, and his team is currently in 12th place, set to return to action on Monday against Posta Rangers.
In Libya, Al Ahli Tripoli, featuring Manzi Thierry and Bizimana Djihad, won the national cup after defeating Al-Ahly Benghazi 3-0. The team will face Al-Ahly Benghazi again on Monday in the Super Cup final.
In Belgium, Standard de Liège, with Hakim Sahabo, defeated Cercle Brugge 2-1. Sahabo did not play, and his team is currently in 6th place before hosting Oud-Heverlee Leuven on Friday.
RAAL La Louvière, featuring Samuel Gueulette, lost 2-1 to Dender. Gueulette was on the bench and was not used, and his team is in 13th place ahead of their match against Zulte Waregem on Saturday.
