As Simba Queens of Tanzania continues to restructure its women’s team ahead of the 2025/2026 season, reliable sources confirm that two Rwandan players are expected to be part of the new squad.
The club, one of the top teams in the Tanzanian Women’s Premier League, has parted ways with several players, with a total of 11 confirmed departures. This move aims to maintain the team’s performance level and strengthen the squad ahead of upcoming competitions.

Simba Queens’ management shared a message on their official X (Twitter) account, thanking the departing players for their contributions to the club’s journey. This shows the club’s commitment to making changes based on strategic and performance considerations.

Among the new players Simba Queens plans to introduce are Umutesiwase Magnifique, formerly of Indahangarwa WFC, and Usanase Zawadi, formerly of AS Kigali WFC. Both are members of Rwanda’s women’s national team, She-Amavubi, and play in attacking positions.

Reports indicate that the two players have already arrived in Tanzania and signed their contracts, with Magnifique having been assigned jersey number 12. They are expected to be officially unveiled as part of Simba Queens’ squad for the upcoming season.
