MINISTER of Education, Honourable Douglas Syakalima has arrived in Livingstone to officially open the inaugural Higher Education Indaba 2025 at Avani Victoria Falls Resort.
Mr. Syakalima is accompanied by Southern Province Minister, Honourable Credo Nanjuwa and Ministry of Education Permanent Secretary-Educational Services, Dr. Kelvin Mambwe.
The event is held under the theme: “Unlocking Zambia’s Potential Through New Investments in Quality Higher Education” and has drawn delegates from the vast expanse of academia, technology, science and cooperating partners who will participate in the two days deliberations to advance and sustain quality education.
In 2021, Zambia introduced free education and last year, it introduced the new scholol curriculum to help improve the quality of education.
