Miss Muyango Claudine said that her heart was broken, which became the reason she got fed up with men

Uwase Muyango Claudine, who won the Miss Photogenic crown at Miss Rwanda 2019, revealed that she was deeply hurt in a relationship she was previously in. She stated that she is currently focused on earning money and taking care of her firstborn child, after becoming discouraged about matters related to men.

She made these remarks during a discussion held on the TikTok platform, hosted by Pastor Hakim, where they talked about her life and her journey following relationship issues that had been widely discussed in the media and on social networks. The discussion also touched on praying for different people and telling them what God has planned for them.

While praying for her, Pastor Hakim told Muyango, “Go ahead and receive a husband in the name of Jesus, say Amen.” Muyango immediately responded, saying, “No! Pastor, please stop.”

Pastor Hakim continued saying that he was teaching her, but Muyango responded in words full of pain, saying, “Let me tell you, Pastor, you know that I love you. But remove issues of men from my mind. I am focused on making money. I have seen matters of men, I have loved and I still love, but where it led me, I was finished.”

She went on to explain how she was emotionally wounded, saying that there were times when she was seen as the one at fault in her relationship, yet she herself went through very difficult experiences.

She said, “But when you see someone walking away, honestly, I was finished. Muyango is called crazy, they see a calm man and say Muyango failed, Muyango did this, but honestly, if someone told the story, if they showed the pain, and now the man comes here with nothing bad to say.”

Pastor Hakim comforted her, encouraging her to continue taking care of herself and to heal emotionally, assuring her that when the time comes, God will build her life. He said, “You are still young. When you finish healing emotionally, God will establish you. But for now, may God give you money.”

Muyango responded by once again emphasizing the decision she made, saying, “I am focused on making money. I have seen matters of men, I have loved and I still love, but where it led me, I was finished.”

Muyango, who previously went through a relationship with Kimenyi Yves, said that what happened to her turned into entertainment on social media and in the media, even though she is known for keeping her private life to herself.

She stated that she was harassed by different people, including criticism about what she wore, which made her choose silence many times. She said, “I lack nothing, except that I have never lost peace in my heart. But God has been good to me, He gave me the strength to stand for my child, He gave me money, truly I thank God.”

Muyango emphasized that she built her life on strength that comes from herself, which is why she always asks people not to lose hope even when they go through difficult times.

As the discussion continued, Pastor Hakim called singer Aline Gahongayire on the phone, who had a conversation with Miss Muyango that included advice and comfort.
Gahongayire, who is known for songs such as ‘Ndanyuzwe’, told her that trials are part of life and that they come to an end.

She said, “No rain lasts forever. At my age compared to yours, do you think I did not go through difficulties? I even experienced the death of a child, yet I am still standing. Truly, what comes from the Lord, you will see it turn into songs or turn into books you will write. Gold becomes valuable after passing through fire.”

Gahongayire promised Muyango to stand by her and encouraged her to strive so that her star will never fade, even if she goes through difficult times.
