The famous singer Britney Spears has entered a rehabilitation center shortly after being apprehended by law enforcement for driving under the influence of alcohol and other substances. Information confirmed by her representatives in the United States indicates that the 44-year-old artist made this decision voluntarily, aiming to “focus on self-care and get her life back on track.”
This follows just one month after Britney Spears was arrested in the State of California while driving a BMW at high speed and suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The singer entered the facility with only a few weeks remaining before her court appearance regarding the charges of driving while intoxicated.
Her former husband, Kevin Federline, speaking through his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan, stated that he supports the decision she made. He expressed satisfaction in seeing Britney seek help of her own accord, noting it is a positive step toward a healthy life. Kaplan said: “If it is a decision she made on her own, it is a great thing and it’s wonderful that she is seeking help.”
In the past, Britney Spears faced severe mental health issues, which led to her being under a legal conservatorship controlled by her father for 13 years, an arrangement that ended in 2021. Despite the difficult times she has faced, Britney Spears remains one of the greatest Pop artists in the world, renowned for hit songs including Baby One More Time, Toxic, Gimme More, and Womanizer.
Entering the drug rehabilitation center is seen as a new step for the singer, which may help her reorganize and continue her journey in music and daily life.
