In response to the serious challenges facing children in the Horn of Africa (HoA), the remittance company Dahabshiil and the international organization Save the Children have signed a partnership aimed at supporting children and improving the well-being of vulnerable communities.
The initiative will focus on key areas such as health, education, and child protection for those affected by poverty, conflict, and displacement. It will provide school supplies, nutritional support, and basic healthcare services.

Dahabshiil will leverage its financial capacity and broad network to support Save the Children’s programs, while Save the Children will continue engaging local communities to promote children’s rights and protection.
The collaboration also aims to work closely with grassroots communities to increase knowledge and empower families to care for their children in sustainable ways.
This joint effort will be monitored and assessed regularly to ensure that the interventions are effective and meet the changing needs of the population, with the goal of achieving meaningful and lasting impact.
