Rwandan artist Kitoko Bibarwa is planning to return and settle in Rwanda in November 2025, after spending 12 years in London, United Kingdom.
Kitoko, who has been active in Rwandan music for a long time, said he has already prepared for his return to Kigali, where he will start a new chapter in his home country. Although he will travel back to the UK when necessary, he affirms that he has decided to reside permanently in Rwanda.
During his time abroad, he focused on his studies and music. He completed his undergraduate degree in Political Science at South Bank University and began a Master’s degree in Peace, Conflict and Diplomacy at London Metropolitan University.
Kitoko is known for several hit songs from previous years, including “Rurabo,” “In Love,” and “Uri Imana.” He last visited Rwanda in 2017, when he took part in the presidential campaign activities.
His return comes at a time when other well-known Rwandan entertainment figures who had been living abroad have also returned, including Miss Aurore Kayibanda, The Ben, and Nyiranyamibwa Suzanne.
