The Rwanda Volleyball Federation (FRVB) has confirmed that the 2025/2026 first division league for both men and women will begin on October 17, 2025. The announcement was made through the federation’s official social media platforms, where upcoming changes for the new season were also highlighted
Ahead of the league’s kickoff, FRVB is set to hold elections for a new Executive Committee on September 20, 2025, to lead the federation for the next four years.
Among the notable changes is the adjustment in the playoff format that determines the league champions. The number of playoff games has increased from three to five, meaning the team that performs best in these five games will be crowned champion in both categories.
