Rwandan artist Mugisha Benjamin, popularly known as The Ben, is preparing to take part in an upcoming event aimed at connecting Rwandan youth living in the United Kingdom. The event is scheduled to take place in Manchester on October 18, 2025.
Titled “Liberation Cup Final & Youth Connect”, the event is organized by the Rwandan Community in Greater Manchester (RCGM) with the objective of promoting dialogue on development, collaboration, and youth engagement in building Rwanda.
In addition to the concert that The Ben will headline at the end of the event, the program will include discussions on topics such as governance, leadership, and employment opportunities in Rwanda. It will also serve as a platform for young people to network, exchange ideas, and explore innovation-driven development.
The event will be held at Belle Vue Leisure Centre, starting at 12:00 PM UK time (6:00 PM Rwanda time), and will combine music, dialogue, and cultural exchange as a way to strengthen the bond between the Rwandan youth in the diaspora and their home country.
As part of his ongoing tour promoting his album Plenty Love, The Ben is expected to close the day with a live performance in Manchester, a city known globally for its rich entertainment and music culture.
The concert is expected to bring together Rwandans living in the UK and others who share a passion for Rwandan culture and music.
