This highly anticipated album, which has been expected since 2025, follows the significant success the artist has already achieved in 2026, including winning the Best International Act award at the MOBO Awards. In a recent interview with Jennifer Hudson, Ayra Starr revealed that “Starr Girl” will feature a blend of different genres that transcend her usual Afrobeats style, incorporating new musical elements aimed at helping her conquer a broader global market.
Already released songs set to appear on the album include “Gimme Dat” featuring Wizkid—which earned her a Grammy nomination—and “Where Do We Go,” a track dominated by dancehall-pop rhythms.
