The artist Eddy Kenzo and his wife Hon. Phionah Nyamutooro, the Minister of State for Mineral Development in Uganda, have welcomed their second child together, a baby girl. The news, confirmed this Tuesday, May 5, 2026, indicates that this child follows a son the couple had prior to their official union.

Eddy Kenzo now has four children in total. These include two (a son and a daughter) with his wife Phionah Nyamutooro, Amaal Musuuza whom he shares with Rema Namakula, and Maya Musuuza from his previous relationship with Tracy Nabatanzi.
The relationship between Eddy Kenzo and Phionah Nyamutooro became public in 2024, after she introduced him to her parents in a ceremony held in Buziga in June of that year. During that traditional ceremony, Eddy Kenzo presented her with an engagement ring.
The artist, who achieved international success after starting his musical journey through a difficult life on the streets, rose to great fame in 2014 through the song “Sitya Loss.” After winning a BET Award in 2015, Eddy Kenzo continues to be one of the prominent artists in Africa, where he also leads a music academy that supports talented individuals.
