Nzabonimana Bantal, one of the most recognized names in fashion and styling for celebrities in Rwanda, has opened up about the difficult journey he went through from childhood to where he is today.
Bantal was born in Nyamasheke District ,Shangi Sector, in the Western Province of Rwanda. His mother is Nyirahabimana Esther, and his father is Ndazirengeye Simion. Despite coming from a region rich in culture and community, his childhood was marked by deep emotional pain and hardship.
He recalled how his father disowned him when he was still young, as he was about to join secondary school. This happened when he asked for school fees, but his father denied knowing him in front of a village meeting.
He explained that life became extremely difficult at that time, lacking even the most basic necessities. However, he chose to stand strong and find his own way instead of waiting for help. Leaving his home in the Western Province, he moved to Kigali where he began the difficult process of rebuilding his life.
Although the path he followed was full of challenges, it became a source of strength and valuable life lessons. Today, Bantal is one of the most respected stylists in Rwanda, known for working with top celebrities especially musicians and other public figures. He has also started to expand his work to include international clients who either live in or visit Rwanda for various engagements.
In his message to the public, he urges all parents to think carefully before disowning their children. He emphasizes that rejecting parental responsibilities causes lasting emotional damage and can deeply affect a child’s future.
