Police FC and national team Amavubi striker, Byiringiro Lague, is preparing for a crucial league match as his team faces APR FC on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 18:30 at Kigali Pele Stadium.
After scoring one goal in the 1-1 draw against Musanze FC, Lague stated that although Police FC could not secure all the points, the upcoming challenge will be very important.
He said, “It was not an easy match; we conceded in the last minute, but in football, these things happen. We wanted to win, but we have to learn from what we did and continue to play well in the upcoming games.”
The striker, who scored his fourth goal in this year’s league, emphasized that his personal goals are high. He said he aims to continue performing well to become the season’s Best Player (MVP) and to add to the list of top scorers.
Police FC, currently leading the league with 22 points from 10 games, will face APR FC in the 10th match of the season. Lague, who played for APR FC from 2028 to 2023, said his team is preparing hard to win.
So far, Byiringiro Lague has scored 4 goals in 9 games and has been named Man of the Match three times, making him one of the key players for Police FC in their bid to continue leading the league.
