Nigerian artist Davido arrived in Kigali at around 2:00 AM on Thursday, accompanied by his team and security personnel. He is in Rwanda at the invitation of Intore Entertainment and Skol, ahead of his scheduled performance this Friday at the BK Arena during the 5Live Tour concert.
Although he was welcomed by many journalists eager to capture photos and videos, Davido chose to record his own footage using an iPhone, filming the media personnel who had come to receive him. He later shared the video on his Instagram page as confirmation of his arrival in Rwanda.
The artist, who was under tight security, did not make any public statements as he exited the airport. He is expected to perform in one of the major concerts of the year, sharing the stage with artists such as Kitoko Bibarwa.
Tickets for the concert have already sold out, and attendees will be able to enjoy the event with plenty of beverages provided by Skol, the main sponsor.
