Doja Cat, who is expected on stage in Kigali, Rwanda, is one of the world’s prominent women in rap and music. She became widely known through songs such as ‘Say So’, ‘Need to Know’, ‘B*tch I’m a Cow’, and ‘Paint the Town Red’, the latter being highly anticipated due to its massive popularity.
Born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini on October 21, 1995, she was born in Los Angeles, United States, to a father of South African descent.

Her musical journey began in 2013 after uploading her first song to the platform SoundCloud. This song gained popularity due to the skill Doja Cat displayed in blending genres like rap, R&B, and Pop.
In 2014, she signed a contract with the record label RCA Records.
In 2018, Doja Cat became a household name after releasing the song titled ‘Mooo!’. That same year, she solidified her musical career by releasing her debut album, ‘Amala’.

In 2019, she released her second album, ‘Hot Pink’. This featured hit songs like ‘Say So’, which became extremely popular in 2020 and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
On August 25, 2023, Doja Cat’s name became even more prominent following the release of the song ‘Paint the Town Red’. This song has been very popular in Rwanda, garnering over 390 million views on YouTube.
The 31-year-old artist arrives to perform in Kigali with recently released popular songs including ‘Jealous Type’, ‘Go Girl’, and ‘Just Us’, a collaboration with Jack Harlow.
