Rwandan artist Kitoko Bibarwa has returned to live in Rwanda after spending 12 years in the United Kingdom, where he had moved to further his music career and continue his studies.
Kitoko arrived at Kigali International Airport on Sunday, November 9, 2025, where he was welcomed by his fans and friends. His return brought joy to Rwandan music lovers who had missed him, especially as one of the artists who contributed to promoting Rwandan music internationally.
Upon his arrival in Kigali, Kitoko thanked his fans for the love they showed him, saying that he has returned to Rwanda ready to continue his music career and contribute to the development of the creative industry.
He said: “I felt that it was time to come back home. I want to make my music here in Rwanda, support other artists, and contribute to the growth of our music industry. Rwanda is where my heart is.”
Kitoko also expressed his excitement about reuniting with his fans in upcoming concerts, including the one he will share the stage with Davido on December 15, 2025, in Kigali. It is one of the most anticipated shows of the year, expected to showcase collaboration between Rwandan and international artists.
During his time in the UK, Kitoko continued making music and performing in various concerts across Europe, America, and the United Kingdom. He has remained one of the Rwandan artists who have represented the country well on the international music scene.
