Element expresses desire for peaceful resolution with former collaborators, while 1:55 AM turns to legal action

Mugisha Robinson, known in the music industry as Element Eleéeh, has stated that the ongoing issues between him and the company 1:55 AM should have been resolved through mutual understanding rather than made public. Speaking out for the first time regarding the conflict, he emphasized that his relationship with 1:55 AM went beyond business and should have been treated as a family matter.

In an interview with Kiss FM, Element explained that he had been hearing the circulating rumors about his fallout with the company and that friends had asked why the situation was allowed to escalate publicly instead of being handled privately. He remains hopeful that the existing issues can still be resolved peacefully, as is possible in any professional setting around the world.

Element said that he will release his new song in July 2025

On the other hand, 1:55 AM, led by Kenny Mugarura, argues that what happened cannot be dismissed as a simple internal misunderstanding. The company accuses Element of breaching his contract, neglecting his responsibilities, failing to share revenues from over 35 songs he worked on, and abruptly quitting his role without formal notice. As a result, the company has decided to pursue legal channels rather than continuing informal negotiations.

Element said that there is no business without challenges problems only remain unresolved when people refuse to listen to each other or fail to reach an understanding

Element has since moved on to work independently and now operates from Ross Kana studio. He has also launched the process of establishing his own studio, indicating that he is focused on personal projects.

This situation unfolds as Element prepares to travel to the United States to perform at the Rwanda Convention USA, scheduled to take place in Dallas, Texas, from July 4 to 6, 2025
